The progress of a nation is largely determined by the extent to which its people have the awareness to increase their knowledge. Increasing community knowledge, apart from being determined by formal education, will also be greatly helped if the community has a good literacy culture through the use of libraries. The existence of a village library will really help improve literacy culture, such as the one at the Pelita Ilmu Library in Buding Village, Kelapa Kampit District, East Belitung Regency. However, in implementing Pelita Ilmu library services, the management is still not optimal in providing INSILITE (Integrated Library System) based services. Therefore, through Community Service Activities, activities are carried out in the form of Optimizing the Village Library by arranging the book collection, improving the layout, improving the library system and socializing the use of the village library to the community. This activity resulted in the Pelita Ilmu library service in Buding Village becoming increasingly optimal and becoming a pleasant and easily accessible place for the community. So that people can get the information and knowledge they need, including preserving the village's cultural heritage.

Education stands as a fundamental pillar in fostering a progressive and competitive society. However, the challenges faced by the Indonesian education system, particularly in remote and rural areas like Desa Air Lintang, remain significant. Low student interest, hindered by limited access to learning resources, insufficient motivation, and minimal environmental support, pose a major obstacle. To address this issue, the KKN-MB IAIN Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung 2024 Group 02 launched the "Bingkisan: Free and Class-Based Learning Guidance" program. This program aimed to enhance student interest in learning through engaging and inspiring academic guidance, encompassing a variety of subjects and languages. It also eliminated financial barriers that often impede access to supplementary education. Employing interactive teaching methods, rewards, and individualized guidance, the program effectively boosted student motivation and academic understanding, provided equitable access to education, and cultivated a strong passion for learning. Evaluation results demonstrated a significant improvement in the comprehension and learning interest of participating children.

The Al-Qur'an literacy program is an activity that supports students' ability to develop a culture of reading the AlQur'an. The focus of the problem discussed is how effective Al's literacy activities are The Qur'an has an impact on students in reading the Qur'an. This research aims to find out how the Al-Qur'an literacy activities process and find out the effectiveness of Al-Qur'an literacy activities in having an impact on students in reading the Al-Qur'an. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data sources for this research are primary data, namely the results of interviews with informants and secondary data, namely data obtained from observation notes, books and journalsThis research shows that Al-Qur'an literacy activities start from the stage of determining the schedule for Al-Qur'an literacy activities, the time and place for carrying out Al-Qur'an literacy activities and those involved in Al-Qur'an literacy activities. As for form the form of Al-Qur'an literacy activities includes a series of AlQur'an literacy activities, methods of implementing Al-Qur'an reading and materials and assessments on Al-Qur'an literacy activities Qur'an. Al-Qur'an literacy activities have a good impact on students. The results of Al-Qur'an literacy activities for students are that Al-Qur'an literacy activities can increase students' interest in reading the AlQur'an, Al-Qur'an literacy activities provide motivation for students in cultivating reading the Al-Qur'an and Al-Qur'an literacy activities provide moral education to students through the verses they read.

Bujang hamlet, Tugang village, Kelapa sub-district, West Bangka regency, is one of the areas where real work lectures or (KKN) are carried out by students of IAIN Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung Class IX of 2024. Tugang village has four hamlets, namely Bujang, Banana, Sungkai and tugang. As for the hamlet we live in, namely the Bujang hamlet, the majority of the community has cattle whose dung is not used properly by the farmers. Therefore, the IAIN KKN student team, Shaykh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung, felt interested in researching and empowering the human resources in Bujang hamlet, especially for making compost fertilizer, where it is hoped that the fertilizer can be distributed and can lead to income for the community itself. In addition to the manufacturing process, the Tugang village KKN student team also socialized the tools, the manufacturing process and the benefits of compost itself to the community so that unused cow dung can be reused and become a source of income for the Tugang village community.

This article explores community-based creative initiatives, including the creation of the "Rumah Dilan" painting by Sundari, plastic waste chairs led by PKK mothers, and the PKK organizational structure, showcasing their potential in community empowerment and environmental conservation. The novelty of this article lies in its detailed examination of how these projects not only produce functional and aesthetically pleasing artworks and products but also support recycling and waste reduction efforts. The methodology involves a collaborative approach, engaging various community groups, including children, teenagers, PKK mothers, and KKN students, in a series of steps for each project. The primary findings highlight the significant social bonds, enhanced skills, and environmental awareness fostered through these initiatives. Additionally, the creation of Activity Photo Charts, Reading Corners, curtains from used bottles, and Karibokas demonstrate how creativity can be integrated into community activities to achieve sustainable positive impacts. Challenges such as material collection and manufacturing techniques are overcome through good coordination and the spirit of mutual cooperation, resulting in products that function well, beautify the environment, and instill pride in the involved community.

The purpose of the service is to increase the understanding of religious moderation and preserve cultural arts through karawitan art performances. The Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach is used to involve the community in cultural preservation and strengthening religious moderation. Involve all levels of society, including children and adults, in art and cultural activities to strengthen social relationships. The karawitan art performance program in Cindaga Village is a positive step in an effort to increase understanding of religious moderation and preserve cultural arts. Through the ABCD approach and direct community involvement, it is hoped that this program can provide sustainable benefits for the community, as well as strengthen harmony and tolerance in the village.

This research aims to create a social media club at SD Negeri 13 Kelapa Kampit. So that students can develop students' reading literacy skills. This research uses qualitative methods by understanding and observing surrounding phenomena written down in words. As well as using observation techniques by making direct observations at the location of the research object. Stages of creating a wall magazine as an effort to increase the literacy and creativity of students at SD Negeri 13 Kelapa Kampit.

In the context of improving the quality of education, developing literacy is an absolute must at all levels of education. Literacy activities are currently a priority in the development of the world of education, especially in the aspects of writing and reading. We can find out information by reading, and we can broaden our insight and think critically. Without reading, we cannot know what is happening in the world, and we cannot know the knowledge that exists in the world, therefore reading is important in knowledge and teaching and learning. The development of children's interest in reading and reading ability is currently very worrying (2) The research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Qualitative research is understood as a series of research processes that are designed in such a way as to examine conditions in the field objectively and truly (3) creating a reading corner is one of the work programs that we will create and develop. Mangrove forests are very important habitats for the marine sector. As guardians of the coastline from erosion, mangrove forests should be continuously preserved. One area that has beautiful mangrove forests with a beach that is not very touched by the evil hands of living creatures is Desa Pembaharuan in Kelapa Kampit District, Belitung Timur. With a reasonably large mangrove forest, Desa Pembaharuan has the potential to develop the existing mangrove forest at Pantai Sabang Ruk into a tourist destination. However, some ideas and plans are still needed in its development. With previous research as a reference, and using qualitative research methods, KKN 31 villagers and students from Desa Pembaharuan suggest the installation of directional signs and signs containing motivational words in the development of the mangrove forest in Desa Pembaharuan. With hopes that, when the directional signs are installed, tourists coming to the mangrove forest in Desa Pembaharuan will not get lost. Because of Sabangruk's location being very isolated from the surrounding population, access to internet is not available and it's difficult to get information online. Not only directional signs, but also motivational words signs in the mangrove forest in Pantai Sabang Ruk, Desa Pembaharuan will add beauty to the mangrove forest.

Edukasi Stunting pada Orang Tua dan Kader Masyarakat di Desa Simpang Tiga Kecamatan Simpang Teritip Kabupaten Bangka Barat

Abstract

Stunting is a condition where a child does not receive adequate nutritional intake for a long time. This condition causes children to experience growth disorders, their height is lower or shorter than children their age and they also have a lower Intelligent Quotient (IQ) than the average normal child. Based on data from the results of Community-Based Electronic Disability and Nutrition Reporting (EPPGBM) in February 2024, the prevalence of stunting in West Bangka Regency is at 7.3%. Even though it has decreased over the last three years, the nutritional condition of toddlers in Simpang Tiga village shows a number of challenges. Based on the latest data from the Kundi Community Health Center, the number of children aged 0-5 years with stunted nutritional status in Simpang Tiga village is 37 toddlers. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research. Meanwhile, to increase public knowledge about stunting, causes, impacts and prevention, the service team held outreach and discussions with the target participants, namely parents of stunted children and community cadres.

Abstrak

Stunting merupakan keadaan dimana anak tidak menerima asupan gizi yang cukup dalam rentang waktu yang lama. Kondisi ini menyebabkan anak mengalami gangguan pertumbuhan tinggi badan yang lebih rendah atau pendek dari anak seusianya dan juga mempunyai Intelligent Quotient (IQ) lebih rendah dibandingkan rata-rata anak normal. Berdasarkan data dari hasil Elektronika Pencacatan dan Pelaporan Gizi Berbasis Masyarakat (EPPGBM) pada Februari 2024, prevalensi stunting Kabupaten Bangka Barat yaitu berada di angka 7,3%. Meskipun mengalami penurunan selama tiga tahun terakhir, akan tetapi kondisi keadaan gizi balita di desa Simpang Tiga menunjukkan sejumlah tantangan. Berdasarkan data terbaru dari Puskesmas Kundi, jumlah anak usia 0-5 tahun dengan status gizi stunting di desa Simpang Tiga sebanyak 37 balita. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis peneitian kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang stunting, faktor penyebab, dampak, dan pencegahan, tim pengabdian mengadakan penyuluhan dan diskusi dengan sasaran peserta yaitu orang tua dengan anak stunting dan kader masyarakat.
